Stainless steel sloping finishing profile for walk-in shower

To create a walk-in shower, you absolutely need a sloping profile for walk-in showers .

Indeed, this stainless steel component guarantees a perfect seal. Many people leave this gap filled with tile grout, but this does not make it watertight.

The walk-in shower profile comes in two versions: right and left, depending on the angle of your shower. It measures 150 cm with a 2% slope. As shown in the technical drawing, it has two profiles. It is sealed before the tiles are laid to ensure good resistance.

Here is a tip to help you choose which profile to buy depending on your configuration: if your shower enclosure is positioned on the left, you need a left-hand profile, however, if your enclosure is on the right, choose the right-hand profile.

The GK shower profile from Dural offers a perfect aesthetic.

The inclined profile solves the problems of edges that are too difficult to tile, thus eliminating the need to make impossible tile cuts.

Technical description

Good to know: You should have the sloping shower profile before making your screed.

Important information to determine the exact orientation of your shower profile: the profile generally ends below your walk-in shower enclosure. Therefore, if your shower enclosure is on the right when you are standing facing the faucets, you need a right-hand profile; if it's the opposite—that is, your walk-in shower enclosure is on your left when you are standing in the shower facing the faucets—then you need a left-hand profile.

I received the profile in the right-hand version instead of the left-hand version. However, they reacted quickly and the exchange was completed within the week. Excellent follow-up.
