Matte black has become a staple in contemporary bathrooms, whether for faucets, shower enclosures, or accessories. Elegant and timeless, it adds character while remaining discreet. However, shower storage solutions in this finish are still limited.
Tots has therefore developed this recessed shower niche in matte black stainless steel, designed to combine modern design and space optimization in your shower.
Its 60 x 20 cm dimensions are perfectly suited to enclosed corner showers. Choosing a matte black niche creates an elegant visual harmony with the faucets and shower wall profiles, while reinforcing the contemporary style of the bathroom.
Featuring a folded rim, the niche offers a refined finish reminiscent of a picture frame, highlighting the surrounding tiles. Designed for shower installation, it can also be integrated into other areas of the home for a decorative and functional result.
From a technical standpoint, this surround effectively conceals irregular tile cuts. With a depth of 10 cm, the niche is perfectly compatible with a 70 mm placo partition, complemented by a 13 mm plasterboard panel and 15 mm glued tiles, for a total thickness of approximately 98 mm.
The remaining 2 mm are intended for the application of a Crystal silicone sealant. It is not necessary to glue the niche to the base: a simple silicone seal around the perimeter is sufficient to guarantee optimal waterproofing.
